Fax Communication

Fax Communication of PHI or PII is considered a secure transmission method. If the information is sent by fax, the cover sheet should include a statement that the information is "Confidential: This transmission is confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed. If you received this transmission in error please return to sender."
